THURSO SURF Expedition is a Touring inflatable paddle board created for speed. Its streamlined body is precisely contoured to minimize drag, allowing you to cut the water more easily and paddle further. The sharp nose and narrow tail grant the desired maneuverability for tight turns and full control. The overall design allows both paddling at speed and carrying supplies for an expedition. Perfect for paddlers who like to paddle fast and/or go on long/multiday trips.
THURSO SURF inflatable SUP boast the strongest iSUP structure available on the market. All our paddleboards feature Double Layer construction, with a woven drop-stitch inner core and a Military Grade outer PVC tarpaulin layer. The side rails are further reinforced with PVC seams to prevent delamination. Carbon reinforcement rails are added to make the paddleboard even more rigid. As a result, THURSO SURF SUP boards are durable, stiff, light, and perform like hardboard.
The included Carbon shaft paddle is the best paddle found in any iSUP package. Far superior to those made from aluminum or fiberglass, it is stronger, lighter, and floats when assembled. The blade is made of tough carbon-nylon hybrid composite strengthened by a center rib to prevent warping. The shaft and blade lock together with both a pin and clasp to eliminating separating or twisting. Adjustable from 71” to 87”. Can also be converted to a kayak paddle with an extra blade (sold separately).
